This picture reminds me of Mr. Tumnus the fawn from the first Narnia movie - "The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe." I loved the way they made him look and walk, so real and believable. Computer technologies are amazing today. I loved the movie, too.
You know what, I can see where you're coming from with that, xiflada! There is a resemblance, yes. Just another snippet of information - Brian Froud, the artist, worked on the movies The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth as conceptual designer and you can see that style influencing some of the cards. It's my favorite deck and I love doing readings with it. Most people know him for illustrating Lady Cottington's Pressed Fairy Book. They recognize the book but couldn't name the artist, which is a shame for someone so hugely talented!
