Forum or a Blog

Is it better to just join forum sites or just blog sites? they say forums are better because it is where you'll find experts in a certain topic you are interested in, while for blogs anybody can just say anything they want and sometimes you won't even get  anything from it. For me I still join both a forum and a blog site because I think I still need to learn more. alt

Even to me i think that forums are good. Because you can have a place for yourself to discuss about things. Blogs can have comments but not your views. And you cannot gain much knowledge from the blogs. It is upto the author of the blog alone.

The purpose of both the things are totally different
In blog you get review from just one
And in forums you can seek help of thousands

I think it is good to join both blogs and forums as both serve different purposes . I think blogs is for sharing one's personal views and forums are for discussing a bigger issue and talking on that. So a person should be active on both blogs and forums as both impart knowledge zest the fun part involved.
