Digital Cameras
8:13 AM on Dec. 14, 2007
I'm just curious about mega pixels of digital cameras, well I know the higher the pixel the better is the quality of photos. But for me 4 mega pixels to 7 mega pixels is good enough why bother going for higher pixels. I think manufacturers are just using this as a marketing strategy, they just keep on creating digital cameras with higher pixels for new products and say its better but the problem is the higher the quality the higher is the space required.

I think this is a really late reply on the question about which brand is best to go with, but its better late than never. For me my first option would be Sony, I always trusted it and I never had any problems with the quality of pictures, the next option for me would be Canon.

I don't know anything at all about digital cameras but we are going to get one soon. So which megapixel would work best for a newbie? Also, what brand? There are so many, how do you know which brand is the best to go with ?

I agree with you, unless you are a profesional fotografer, you really have no need for more then 4 or 5 megapixels. I say, save some money, get a less pixel camera and you'll have money left over for more gifts. HEHE.
