PHP or HTML
6:55 PM on Dec. 8, 2007
I've been  doing a self study on creating websites and I usually practice on free web hosting sites. I just want to ask for an advise on whether to start first with HTML or can I go directly practice PHP codes?. I'm not a web master or even a programmer, I just want to learn how to create a site of my own. My adviser in school told me just to go ahead start with PHP, some friends told me to try using dream weaver. Anyway what do you think ?alt

I think I should start with HTML first, some PHP commands needs some HTML codes to run and for me to understand that I need to also know and understand HTML codes. I’ve already started with some HTML basics and I’m hoping I’ll be able to finish learning the basics in a month.

I like PHP more as its more dynamic in nature and gives you more power and also helps you create users

I started using html, and its quite easy to use so it is probably a good way to start. Dreamweaver is very simple to use and much faster than typing the code yourself, but you will find it more useful if u have some knowledge of html before hand

I think you should go with html first and then Php , as it is always better to start from the basics and progress likewise. If you have good teaches on your side and along with good content to carry on with you can learn html real fast and likewise progress to php.Thats My opinion there are always who do php straightway.
