Cuckoo

As it rained past a few days , very humid.

We have rainy season from June to the end of July.

There are several woods in my city,

my rooms are at the third floor of an apartment in a suburb of Tokyo.

I can see very nice view through the window, feel sky so close.

When I was drying a sheet at the balcony as usual

this early morning, a cockoo flew and sang over my head.

I've been seeing a cockoo every summer since moving to here 14 years ago.

Before I moved to here, I had never seen a cockoo.

I just pictured a cockoo is green or blue, but a gray bird.

Last year, the cockoo didn't come,

I 'm  pretty happy he came this year,

and look forward to listening to his song during this rainy season ,alt

Mightamock: I know Blue Jay, very beautiful bird, But they're not in Japan, we see a great tit, and a tree pie
here, I've seen a wood pecker once several years ago in a wood nearby when taking a walk,
I was amazed to see he was packing a tree.

First thought it was a tie between the Cardinal and the Blue Jay. Then looking at it again when ever I get to see birds it is always good. They tell you so much yet who listens?

Mightamock: So happy you liked this blog, what species of birds do you like? I like a bush warbler,
they're pretty green and song.
