It just turned October and I'm having to don gloves for inside the house, is it cold in Japan just now? Cause it's absolutely freezing in here, the thermostat I have on the fridge isn't even showing a number. XP
tongyun AriesWren. I love snow view , but when it snows too much, the train schedule would be in disorder. And northern city Hokkaido has traffic accident most in Japan. Fortunately people of my Tokyo city do not drive so fast, though. I wish it won't snow too much this winter.
That's a lot of snow, AriesWren. There was one Sunday earlier this year when it was just snowing like crazy. Several of us in the neighborhood pulled out our shovels and snowblowers to help clean out walkways for the older people in the neighborhood. I took my two sons along just so they could help their fellow neighbors.
I love it when it snows, especially when it gets so thick, people can't get out of their driveways. It means that I can actually go out for a walk without having to yell "You forgot about the speed limit!" at people who can't drive.
In March this year, the snow was so deep, I couldn't get the door open, I had to leave by going out my bedroom window.
This is what the weather is like during the winter in Utah and I absolutely hate it. You're right Tomoko, it's hard to walk and drive. Everything is so slippery it awful. And in Utah, people own trucks and other large vehicles that have four wheel drive so they drive fast but when they step on the brakes, the car slips and slides. Very dangerous.
cirereyes. I don't like snowing cuz it's tough to walk, very slippery, So actually some people in Tokyo stumble and fall.on the icy road., Tokyo has not much snow like Northern area, so we 're not used to walking. Northern people have special shoes for snow. The high-heeled shoes has the cleats on the back. Well, I don't like also rainy seaosn. It lasts from June to the end of July., very humid. I have heard Singapore is humid all year around, though.
It's a good thing the snow is not that thick, I wonder how long will it take for that snow to melt down. We don't have snow here in our place because our country is near the equator. Tell me; is it better to have a winter season than the rainy days?
