My New Year's resolution is to be more like the people we elect into office. Shoot, I can sodomize whom ever I like and I will still get my pension. This indeed will be a great year...
I haven't ever made any New Year's Resolutions. Partly because I have never ever seen anyone ever keep the ones they make, and, of course, partly because I know myself and I know I'll backslide. Besides, New Year's Eve and the next day aren't exactly the most appropriate time to make solemn promises like "I won't drink anymore" or "I will lose 100 pounds and will eat healthier." (Not that these are things I need to make "resolutions" about....)
I don't actually make resolutions as they are the only things that I can't follow up with me. But I do try to think what can I do best in the next one year, SO I am thinking of knowing each and every street of my city, Knowing each nook and corner would be just so fun ain't it?
I have stopped doing one after high school so maybe its time for me to start another one. My new years resolution for 2008, I'll just have 2 so I can easily remember them. First I think I'll start loving my job because I never did and I think I should because its my source of income. Second, I'll do my best not to be a very very lazy writer so I can finish my research.
I always make them and I never keep them, so this year I have decided that my New Years resolution is not to make a New Years resolution :-). I feel so bad for my cousin. Every year he makes a resolution to stop smoking, and every year he fails. I'm gonna take the easy way out this year.
